On the other hand, external influenced has caused feeding and nursing her to sleep a tough task. For her to concentrate, i'll have to feed her in the room. And, i'll have to spent longer time nurse her for naps. She's easily awake too.
Have start giving her pacifier to calm her down for naps...Sigh! I thought i never have to introduced pacifier to my girl but....Sigh! Sometimes when she's really fussy and refuse to settle down for naps, it did a really good job to calm her down, but she won't be able to fall asleep with it even though she's sleepy. It seems to make her stays awake calmly. I'll still have to "pat" her to sleep. Actually the best way to make her fall asleep is giving her the bottle and sing songs but sometimes she just had her milk an hour ago, i can't be giving her again. Although Pediatric don't encourage giving baby pacifier but babies just need something to "stuff" their mouth and pacifier is the thing i could think of. Anyway, am only giving her the pacifier when needed, when she's asleep i'll take it away. Hopefully she won't addict and rely to it.
My girl likes to be on her tummy very much even during asleep. Almost every night, she'll roll over and sleep on her tummy. If i move her back on her back because afraid that she'll have breathing difficulty with her weird position, she'll get fussy and will roll over again. She'll rather sleep on her tummy with the weird position. After a few nights observing her, i decided to let her sleep on the position she wants. Because she seems to sleep better. And i found, if she feel uncomfortable, she'll roll herself back on her back. Since my darling master the roll over skill, i became very busy because i has to keep and eye on her. Each time i place her on the mattress, she'll roll over. If she has just finish feeding, that will cause vomit, else she'll taste the mattress with her tongue.
Starts putting my bb in walker when nobody is free to carry her or keep an eye on her. She dislike to be in there for long, and will start making noise when she wants to out from it. I think she prefer to be on the mattress, walker seems to limit her movements. Well, maybe because she still don't know how to control and move herself to the direction she wants with it (only moving backward).
Introduced solid foods to my bb. She refused to had her formula milk again so i try giving her a little watery rice cereal and she seems like it. She enjoys being feed with spoon. I think she just wants to be like us because she seems interesting and wants to try when seeing us eating.
At night, i had to be around with her. Else, she'll burst into tears non-stop until i appear to comfort her. Can't even left her alone for a while with my mum or grandma who sees and hold her everyday. At night i'm the only one she wants.
24/03/10, brought bb to poli for last dos of vaccination provided by government. She's weighted at 6.8kg. Didn't gave her the paracetamol immediately after we were back because i thought she's fine (no fever) and i'm wrong. I forgot it's also a pain killer. In the afternoon, my darling is in tears because of pain at the injection area. Due to my fault, she has an unpleasant day.
Likes pump up herself when she's on her tummy. Able to lift her little "butt" up. Moving downward instead of crawling forward.
At night, she could roll all over the bed and turn 360 degree, can even crawl forward!?! when she asleep. She fell off the mattress once during midnight. Luckily, we have been sleeping without bed frame since she full moon for prevention. I had also put big pillows around her but still she fell off. Sigh!!! Really don't understand how she managed to get through between the pillows (pillows still at the place, only her fell off).
On 30/3/10, brought bb to see pediatric because the night before she throw up some sticky phlegm-like stuff after a great cry. This is her 3rd times, so i wanted to find out the problem since she's not having flu (no running nose, no coughing). Found out that's actually the cause she refused to have her milk. Dr said the phlegm is caused by nose allergy, nothing much we could do as long we avoid smoke and dust. So, no big problem!
My girl turns 5 months old on 31/03/10.
