Life in
Shenzhen with my
bb is definitely a challenge....especially this is a tough period for her because she's growing and learning rapidly.
Since most of the times, i am alone with her and without helping hands, i have to be multitasking...doing things with one hand and holding her with another arm. Thats really tired. Baby carrier did help me a lot, but it gave me aching shoulder....
Yes, i'm almost exhausted....but a smiling face of her soothes me....
From the beginning, i hold her to make her feel secure, helping her to adapt new environment, new place, new house, new friends....I can feel she is not as merry as when she is at Muar....Well, of course, most of the time only both of us at home, no others the play with her like at Muar....She's so excited, kicking her legs and giggles when we brought her out and she smiles to anyone she meets....
Then, i hold her to comfort her because of teething she gets fussy easily. Crying often especially at night before sleep. Most of the nights we are having hard times......me and hubby had do what we can to comfort her but sometimes she just won't stop...so, i hold her until she fall asleep...
Besides, she has start learning to crawl, to sit up unaided as well as to pull herself up to stand. Yes, she has doing all that before she is 7 months old!! I have to keep my eyes closely to her so that she's safe from falling and knocking. When i need to do things, i hold her. I know knocking and falling is unavoidable and she had actually fell and knocked her head a few times because of losing balance, but i don't wish her to get seriously hurt while i'm away for seconds.
Basically, i'm like a magnate to her, she's sticking to me almost all the times. Now that she has adapts to the environment and mastered those skills, i finally have little free time to do my things. Hopefully the teething process could get over soon, so that we have good night sleep!
Leaving her in her "cage" to play when she's happy...
I have learned.....to be a mother is to be a superwomen.....You'll need to have lots of energy, patience.......
