I done my 3rd check up on 19th May 2009 (2 days after i am back from SZ) at Muar GH. Supposedly i no need to go for check up so soon, but since the check up in SZ wasn't done full (without urine test) and i just have a long travelling, better go for a check up to confirm me and baby really doing well.
Choose to go Muar GH becoz first of all, it's FOC for all Malaysian regardless races and they don't mind where you want to give birth later. Besides, it's fully equipped and the check up is quite thorough, although most routine check up is done by experienced nurses and only scanning will be done by doctor or when necessary.
Urine test : normal
Blood pressure : 120/80
Hb : 10.9 (low-being advised to eat more foods contained of iron, vitamin C and vitamin B complex, plus folid acid pill)
Weight : 43.5kg (gain a 0.5 kg within 2 days back from SZ. Well, i am really eating a lot since back but still being said by the nurse that i'm too light and have to eat more ;p)

Beside the above routine check, and since i am considered as doing the 1st checking at the hospital, they took my blood sample for HIV checking (a must for all pregnant women). I have also done a dental check at the hospital (No problem with all my teeth of course ;-}).
Upon end of the consultation, the nurse requested me to be back for scanning by the doctor on 28th May. I told the nurse that i have just done a scan in SZ 2 days ago and even show her the report but she insisted for the coming appointment. Mostly becoz she can't read and understand the report written in Chinese, so a scan in the hospital for record is better. Plus due to my past record, they have bookmarked my profile for more attention.

Surprisingly a nurse from GH Muar came visit at my home on 21st May morning.
I know they will visit randomly when they are free but i never thought they will visit me so fast becoz i have just went to the hospital 2 days ago.
Anyway, the visit was simple. The nurse have some words with me and check my blood pressure (120/80) that's all. She leave after confirming the coming appointment.

粽飘香。。
好多年没在家过端午了，上两年甚至没尝到家里的味道。今年为了养胎，我在端午前回到了家，才有机会吃到家里裹的咸肉粽。可怜老公因为工作必须一个人在深圳过端午。每到端午，深圳超市总有很多来至中国各地不同的粽子，馋嘴的老公一定会选择一些买来品尝。但是尝过的林林总总中，都没找到类似家乡咸肉粽的味道，连馅料都非常不同。有些味道很不错，不过我们吃起来却还是觉得少了些什么。老公也一直怀念家里的咸肉粽。我虽然不特别爱吃粽子，却也觉得还是家乡的味道好。好在老公下个月会回来，妈妈前两天已经把一串家里新鲜裹好的咸肉粽冰封起来，好让他回来时能解解馋。
无论到哪里, 还是家乡的味道最好!

2nd pregnancy checkup..
Done on 15th May 2009 at ShenZhen. Actually i planned to do the check up after i am back in Muar (will be back on 17th). But that afternoon i found some brownish discharge when i go toilet. That's really terrified me and i decided to call hubby who is at work to company me to see the doctor (better safe than sorry). Hubby rushed home and we went to ShenZhen Spring Hospital which located nearby our neighborhood. Although we don't really trust China's doctor but we still opt for it becoz Hongkong is too far. And according to a friend, their scan is quite detailed, though their doctor may be inexperience. Well, a scan will be good enough since i only want to make sure my baby is safe in my tummy.
A color scan was done. The baby is doing well, heart beat is normal and no irregular found. Finally, set our heart at rest. As for the brownish discharge, the doctor advised i might be too tired or the placenta is slightly lower. She convinced us that as long the discharge wasn't bloody and my abdomen wasn't in great pain, there is nothing to be worried. All i need to do is rest more and don't carry heavy things. (Wondering how can a person who is not working, rest at home always like me be too tired??? Though i didn't really sleep well the night before, but could it be so serious??? Anyway, thank God no more brownish discharge after that.)
After the gynea advice us about the scan, hubby ask the gynea why they don't do urine test, blood pressure measurement and weighting. The gynea quickly answered she is about to do that now (Usually all these are done before scanning wondering why they are different. Big possibility if hubby don't ask she will save the hassle.)
Still she skipped the urine test. My blood pressure is normal and my weight has reduced to 43kg (0.8kg lesser since last check up). Well, not surprise, due to the morning sickness, i have no appetite and is only eating a little. Will gain back once the miserable period passed.

The check up cost us only RMB 125 (color scan RMB 120 and RMB 5 registration fee). This is very much cheaper than in Hongkong. Have check that 3D scanning which baby appearance can be seen very clearly also available in that hospital with RMB 299. In Hongkong, the same 3D scan cost around HKD 1800 and i believe in Malaysia it also cost a few hundreds ringgit.

My blood pressure is normal and i am weighted at 43.8kg. Both hubby and me feel surprise that i am so light becoz i got a 45kg when i weighted at home. Weighted that night at home again, is 45kg. Not sure why there is such a big difference between 2 scales, perhaps home scale is much more sensitive.
The gynea told us, i am pregnant for 9 weeks and 5 days. The baby is doing well and the baby's size is up to date. He said that i no need to go for blood test since my last pregnancy was just a year ago but he suggested me to consider a detailed color scan around 18-24 weeks or a 3D scan around 28-36 weeks. Then he adviced me to eat nutrition foods and some do's and dont's. End of the consultation. We spent HKD 1000 for the check up without any vitamins provided. $$Expensive$$....

I am back!
Been stop posting for quite sometime...
Been feeling not well....
Becoz i been suffering from "morning sickness"...(Glad that the miserable time has passed...)
Yes, we'll be having a baby by year end... ;D
Back in Muar, my hometown now, leaving my darling hubby alone at China...
Missing him a lot, but becoz of better environment at home and i could have better care (hubby always worry i am alone at home at China during his workdays), better foods (mum's cooking) plus more convenient for doctor, so we decided to bear the "lovesick"....
Some might know this is actually my second pregnancy.
I have lost my first baby during my last pregnancy a year ago.
Forgive me that i had never talked or mentioned about this heart broken incident.
To me, it's really hard to tell about it.
I always treat it as one of my nightmare, a very very bad dream i ever had, although deep in my heart i know it is true.
Pretending it as nightmare is easier for me to let it go.
Due to the past, i feel anxious this time.
But nothing much i could really do beside being extra careful and always pray to God to bless this baby safe and healthy.
